I was thinking I might cut this whole project short, but then one of my friends told me she is enjoying reading it. Well, I will keep up with my list, but I am going to try to consolidate some of the ideas so I can end by an earlier date. I have something special planned for that final day!

I believe you should document memories.
This is a very strong opinion of mine for many reasons. I have talked recently about working on the boys' scrapbooks and how much fun I have been having looking back at the photos. When I got divorced, my ex-husband got some friends together and they pulled trucks up to the house and just went in and took pretty much everything. As I am going through photos, I will see something in the background that I completely forgot I ever had. Mostly, though, I think about how sweet those little guys in the photos are. I know everyone has seen "The Notebook", so you know how important that notebook of their life together is. My mom's mom passed away from Alzheimer's several years ago, and my dad's mom is in the advanced stages of it now. I want to have those photos/scrapbooks/journals to look at and recall things as long as I can. I also want to make sure that I have documented everything for my kids so they will have memories to recall.
