When Geno and I were back visiting our children over the holidays, we had an interesting coversation with one of them. He and his girlfriend were talking about a situation with someone very close to us and a friend. After discussing the situation, the comment was made-"She's really nice. She just wants (name withheld)"
This "she" has actively pursued this person she wants, and he is MARRIED! His wife did finally move out and he is in the process of a divorce, but this girl played a part in their problems.
I don't even need to hear anything more about this person, and I can tell you some things about her. She is not trustworthy. She has no regard for committment. She doesn't care who she hurts to get what she wants. She feels a sense of entitlement. She is not nice!
When did we start looking at people who do this sort of thing and dismiss their actions while thinking they are nice? I would guess that if this same person were to start taking an interest in this son, his girlfriend would no longer think she is nice!
