Spring Forward!

Hearing that reminds me of a trip we took with our friends, Sarah and Eric, a few years back. We went to a ballgame on Friday night in Springfield, MO and then to Silver Dollar City on Saturday. Neither Sarah, Derrick or Mark were roller coaster riders, so Geno, Eric and I went on one while they were standing to the side watching. After everyone is loaded, the cars are moved up onto a different track. This is where Sarah and the boys were standing on the side waiting. I was waving to them and smiling and laughing. I had never been on this coaster before, so I had no idea what it was like. After sitting for a few seconds, you SPRING FORWARD like you have been shot out of slingshot. It was so fast that I actually had windburn on my face! I can only imagine that the look on my face went from smiling to horrified!

So, it is now time for me to spring forward. We had a little delay in the process this weekend since neither one of us felt good Saturday afternoon into Sunday, but we are both in tip top condition again :o) Goals for this week:

1. Have a great FHE tonight with Geno. We haven't done this in a long time and we wanted to get it started again. My week to plan-food storage? budgets? who knows!

2. Deep clean the bathrooms. That is the zone this week!

3. Make a pillowcase dress for Braylee and mail it along with her St. Patrick's Day gift. I haven't sewn in FOREVER and have been wanting to make something for her. I called 4 places today to see about getting my sewing machine serviced and ready for some serious sewing. One was out of business, one isn't open due to a medical emergency, one doesn't offer machine servicing, and the other said to leave a message. Guess I will call back and leave a message since that was my only option.

4. Mail a St. Patrick's box to the grandsons.

5. Clean out the SUV! I haven't really had an opportunity since we took Zachary and Hunter back at Christmas. It is supposed to be 78 out there today and it is getting done.

6. Plan an amazing date night for us this week. My turn to plan and I have some ideas swirling around in my brain <3

7. Finish the last 3 layouts to complete the year 1988. I set a goal at the beginning of the year to finish 250 pages for my albums and get through the year 1990 in our albums. It is only March and I will be done with 1988-and only in 13 layouts! It seems that 250 pages may complete ALL of the albums!

New Scrapbook Goals:

March-finish 1988 @4 layouts

April-finish 1989 @20 layouts

May-finish 1990 @6 layouts

June-finsish 1991 @9 layouts

July-finish 1992 @24 layouts

August-finish 1993 @29 layouts

September-finish 1994 @15 layouts

October-finish 1995 @34 layouts

I am so very excited to start 1996, because this is the year I met Geno! It is going to be so fun to start working on an album for us. I have been focusing on everyone else for so long that I didn't even think about an album for us.
