It has been a somber week here in Northwest Arkansas this week with all of the layoffs at the Wal-Mart Home Office. Apparently, there are about 700 more coming this next week and everyone is walking on pins and needles worrying about whether their job will be cut next. I am more and more grateful for Geno's job every day (every minute!) I know how these people are feeling right now, because we went through this same situation two years ago.
For Christmas this year, I decided that I wanted to do something with Missie and Sarah each month before I move. Last month we saw "Bride Wars" together. I probably wouldn't have gone to see it otherwise and it was such a good movie and good time-probably the company ;o) My gift for February was pedicures-complete with red polish so we would be ready for our Valentine dates with our husbands.
Here we are enjoying the massage chairs after having our legs and feet massaged!
Missie insisted that I needed hearts, too!
All three of us done. ( I am pretty sure that those ladies thought we were crazy when we took our shoes off to take this picture!)
Geno had come with me and just played around with Zachary in the toy aisle at Wal-Mart while I got my pedicure. We had planned to do lunch at Jason's Deli and grab a movie while Zach was at his Nana's, but we never did connect to get him over there. We decided that we would just go to Jason's Deli for dinner last night and then stick around the Bentonville/Bella Vista area today. We were hoping to see "New In Town" but it looks like we will just rent "Nights in Rodanthe" on PPV today and watch "New In Town" when it comes out on PPV! We don't like to leave our little guy with just anyone and that is how we were with our boys, too! Besides, look at that cute little face:
Looking at that again reminds me how much he looks like his dad!!

I have turned Zach into a total camera hog! He wouldn't even look at me when he first came to live with us. The following is from about 5 attempts to get a good photo and then I finally said enough!!

I had fun last night. It was nice to get a chance to chat especially after such a long week for everyone. Thanks again for my pedi. I love you, my dear dear friend! Happy Valentine's Day!
Zachary does seem to be growing into a happy, confident little personality. Such a cutie.
New in Town was good, but will be just as enjoyable on PPV. Hope you had a fun date!
That looks like it was so relaxing! I might need to go get the works done before the baby comes. Are you moving? I haven't seen or talked to you in forever! Have a great day!
