I am up and at'em this morning trying to get things done and thought that I had better post since I took a few important pictures this week! However, since I am behind with posting I am going to follow my friend, Missie, and post one for this past week and one for next week and call it "DONE"!
These were our Valentine treats. I made the small bags of goodies for Zachary to hand out. They had lip gloss, suckers, valentine brownies, pencils and a Krispy Kreme coupon. The boys are on a health kick, so they got a 4 pack of Myoplex drinks and a protein bar. Geno got 14 days of Valentines again and the book "Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives", I got these pretty flowers and 2 boxes of candy. The candy was sweet, but nevermind that I announced to Geno on the Friday morning before that I had lost another pound!
This is a sight that makes me REALLY HAPPY:
We have two roomy closets downstairs that are perfect for food storage. This one is under the stairs and has shelves. I use it for our individually purchased canned goods. I will be ecstatic when it is filled with a one year supply of food, but for now this is great. I spend about $20 per week on items to fill up this closet. The other closet doesn't have shelves, so it is full of #10 cans filled with items like flour, oats, wheat, sugar, pastas, popcorn, etc.
The most important thing that happened this week, though, is that I went from this:

So happy to hear that Christopher has returned home safely! I am jealous of your food storage pantry and wish mine was that big.
Wow, I would die to have so much room for food storage. Good job, stocking up the shelves. Also, I'm glad to hear that Christoper made it home safely!
