Baby Love

Who doesn't love a baby?
(Well, I have two sons who really aren't interested until they get older, but they are certainly the minority!)
Little Isabella Jean was born yesterday with a head full of glowing red hair. Her mother was brought to tears at the sight because her mother (who passed away with cancer in the last two years) always wanted a red-head. Well, here she is:
I am forever amazed at how tiny they look when you first see them. I don't remember any of my boys being so small! (Christopher wasn't even close to that small-but that is another story!) Isabella is absolutely perfect and her mother looked beautiful in spite of what she had just gone through. This little princess has two of the cutest older sisters who Geno and I have had to privilege of watching a couple of times. I am hoping to be of service to them over the next year while Geno is gone and send them on lots of dates while I keep the girls. Since Geno will be gone, I won't be going out and somebody should be!
Of course, there were two other ladies there when we got there and then three more showed up! Babies are like magnets and they attract the hearts of the women (and Geno! He can't resist a baby.) Isabella hadn't been very responsive to eating. She was pretty tired after all that she had been through. Can you blame her! Her mother needed to try again, so Meg woke her up and they changed her little bum. (Baby bums are so little and cute!) She was on the bed with her eyes finally opened and all of sudden there were 4 ladies over her talking sweet to her and we made her cry! Poor thing! She really liked Geno's voice, though, and she listened as he spoke to her. Then she did a little talking to me right before we left. Her mother said that she doesn't have a Grandma to come and hold her, so I was welcome any time. I am pretty sure that I can do that ;o)
