7 Random Things About Us...

OK, Kasey! I am going to play along...



1. I EAT MY M&M's BY COLOR! I have no idea why really, but I put them in order-by color of the rainbow-in my hand and then eat them in that order NEVER having two different colors in my mouth at the same time! GENO just eats them! He gets these cravings for plain m&ms and just eats bags of them! He is going through one of those cravings now!

2. I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA, AND MAYO SANDWICHES! OK, I know! You can throw up now! I always get people when I add the mayo, but it really is good. You can't say yuck until you try it yourself!! GENO thinks I am crazy, but he eats GARLIC BOLOGNA and he likes SPAM-which is way more gross than my choice!!

3. I NEVER LET OTHERS CRY ALONE. I just can't handle when others cry in front of me. The tears just start to come. I think that means that I am a very compassionate person (or a big cry baby!) I also hate to cry in front of people, so I will do whatever I can to either avoid people who are already crying or think of something else to keep myself from crying. GENO IS ONE BIG TEDDY BEAR. He isn't afraid to let his emotions show and you can catch him wiping a tear away every once in a while.

4. I LOVE TO SING IN THE SHOWER! I don't have the best voice, but I can carry my own. However, I can't read music, so I have to follow the person sitting next to me or the piano. GENO HAS AN AMAZING VOICE! When we were first engaged he sang George Strait's "I Cross My Heart" to me and it was so good! He can sing Garth better than Garth!! He can't read music either, though, so he doesn't have much confidence when it comes to singing a song that he had never heard before. You probably won't ever hear him sing, but he can do an amazing beat box! It is all about the big lips, he says. I love his big lips!!

5. I was in the National Honor Society in high school and was the President of the Illinois Latin Club! I was not in the top 10% of my class, but I missed it by about 20 kids. Geno barely had 20 kids in his graduating class! He spent more time on his hair than his school work, but he still had good grades. If you even run into his brother, Jeremy, just ask one leading question about Geno and his hair and you will laugh until your stomach hurts as Jeremy does his impression of Geno for you! Geno was chosen the leader of his group in basic training for the Air Force, was class leader in training for the Sheriff's department, and was even chose class president in his Secret Service training group. He is a natural leader in those types of organizations.

6. In high school I accidentally broke my mom's little toe. We were playing around and she was pushing me into the bathroom and trying to shut the door. When I pulled the door it caught her toe and broke it! In high school Geno broke someone's jaw. He wasn't playing!

7. I am such a morning person! I pop out of bed and love to sing and open all of the windows to let the sunshine in. Geno is not a morning person! He wants to kill me in the mornings when I am so happy. He takes a long time to wake up. (He had just gotten to school when he broke that kid's jaw)
