I'd Do Anything For Him

I just can't help but love this man!
There was ice on the car and the roads were a little slow-going, but he had been craving a donut since last night. We are in Birmingham this week for the Arachnoiditis treatments and he has had a rough time not being able to sleep. Dr. Aldrete adjusts his medications according to Geno's reports about how he feels and how his nights go, so today he got an extra dose of whatever makes him sleep (or a lesser dose of whatever is keeping him awake!). He was out and snoring within minutes of the IV getting started, and he barely made it back to the hotel and out of his clothes before he was out again. He slept until 4pm! We hung out until 5:30 when they serve the free dinner here at the hotel. He was groggy, but he still was craving that donut after eating his dinner. Of course, I agreed to take him! How can I resist?
We had to go just 6 miles down I-459 to exit 13B. Geno had already decided he would need 3 donuts, so we got 1/2 dozen. I was afraid to eat my hot glazed donut in the car with the weather as it is, so when I got back to the hotel and opened the box, this is what I found:
He said he had all of his gone by the time we hit exit 15 on the way back!!!!
