I love it that my husband thinks I should always have fresh flowers. I love it even more that he will stop at Publix and pick them out! When we were first married (and our income was considerably less than it is now), Geno would have flowers delivered to me from the local florist. They were beautiful, but SO EXPENSIVE! Back then we lived in Colorado Springs and there were people on the street corners selling 2 dozen carnations for $3, and that was certainly good enough for me! He has very good taste when it comes to flowers. He knows that roses are my very favorite to get from him, but I like mixed boquets, too. So, he picked this one out yesterday since it had a few roses in it, too. I love it when someone gives you something and can tell you why they picked it out with you in mind :o)
Speaking of gifts with the recipient in mind...Christmas is coming up! I have always enjoyed coming up with special gifts for people, but after a while that can become a challenge. Little ones are always pretty easy, but what about grandparents and parents who have everything thing need and just go out and buy anything they want? I am in need of ideas!
Kohl's will grand open today, so I will take a stroll over there and to Hobby Lobby to see if anything pops out at me! Did I mention that they are both just outside the entrance to our complex? How awesome is that!
In the meantime, I will be working on Super Saturday projects, the last few things for Sarah's baby shower, and Braylee's Halloween costume. Posts and photos for those to follow...PROMISE ;o)
