"Find Joy in the Journey"

I got to spend 14 hours with my two good friends yesterday at SSD just scrapping and chatting. It is always so much fun to spend time with them and work on my hobby that I enjoy so much. For Christmas this past year, I wanted to do something for everyone in our families that focused on our General Conference messages from last October-even though Geno and I are the only members in our families. Since President Monson has been my favorite speaker since I joined the church (25 years ago next month!) I always read his talks over and over again. I felt inspired to do something based on his "Finding Joy in the Journey" talk. I sent envelopes to everyone asking for pictures and ended up only getting them back from the one brother whose children are already grown, so I put "memories" in the middle of his photos. I hadn't completed the one for Christopher and Elizabeth yet, but since they are here to pick up Zachary and take him back home, I thought I had better get this done and send it home with them. I love how this turned out!!!
This is an awesome Super Saturday project. It costs about $8 total and takes 20-30 minutes to complete.

I love it! Did you use a 12x12 frame and vinyl lettering? You have to let me know! I love Pres. Monson. I wrote down a little something that he said today..."The future is as bright as your faith". That really helped me today! I hope that you are doing well!
