Well, we are in the second week of getting the house ready to put on the market. The outside is looking pretty good. Geno bought some spray and took care of the siding, porch and deck on Friday and Saturday. Less than $40 and they are looking nice and clean! We also bought 8 bags of red mulch for the flower beds. The last thing to be done is painting the front door-and possibly the porch swing-a rust orange that is apparently the new trendy color according to the houses showcased in the Parade of Homes.
As soon as I am done writing, Brian and I will start stripping the wallpaper from the kitchen walls. I don't know how long that will end up taking us, but hopefully only a few hours tops.
After Geno gets back from DC tonight, we will move the washer and dryer out of the laundry room, clean it up and add a fresh coat of paint. I love how much better a room looks with a fresh coat of paint!
Well, that is our Monday in a nutshell.

I didn't know that you are putting your house up for sale! Where are y'all planning on going? :) I love the green in your scraproom...I can feel the creative energy in there!
Well, Geno started a new job last Monday and we have to relocate to Montgomery, AL by June of 2009. We are going to let Derrick graduate and then pack up and head out!!
