Enough is Enough!

Or is it???

This is a picture of one small area of my scrapbook room:

The five cubes on the right and even the area in between the two top ones are full of 12x12 paper. As you can see, there are about 5 Cropper Hopper paper holders that they advertise can hold around 300 sheets each. Each of these cubes is full, so that would be 5 holders x 300 sheets each x 6 cubes for about (GASP!)

about 9,000 sheets of 12x12 paper!!!

When did this happen?? How did this happen?? Who on earth allowed this to happen?? This is an addiction, you know, and it might possibly need some intervention!!

Well, I may have come to the first step-recognition. I mean I am posting this for all of you to see, right? I was getting ready for Scrap Pink tonight. (I know that Meg is looking at this with envy right now. Sorry, Meg! There is a customer appreciation crop October 12&13 that you will want to sign up for as soon as they start taking names!) I realized that I have all of these adorable pictures of Noodle that I need to get done before he is graduating from high school. (No really! I was working on Brian's page from his first birthday the same year that he was graduating from high school!) I have kind of been in this scrapbooking "funk" as my friend, Missie, calls it. I just wasn't pleased with the pages I have been doing. (Now part of that may have to do with the fact that I don't really have the best pictures, but they are from when the boys were little and I can't go back!) Well, as I started looking into my stash and actually using the papers that I have-and I have some really awesome ones-I was getting some great ideas and feeling good already about the pages that I am going to make this weekend! I may have taken that first step. However, that first step now makes me a "user" instead of a "collector." It doesn't sound like a step forward ;o)

I'll let you know how Scrap Pink turns out!!!
